580 new 182 cars sold in Louth last month
There were 580 new 182 cars sold in Louth last month.
Figures from SIMI show that this was down slightly from July 2017 when there were 587 new 172 models bought. This represents a 1.2% fall year on year.
The biggest selling model in the first month of the 182 registrations was Nissan with 84 sales. The remainder of the top 10 included Ford (64), Hyundai (53), Toyota (53), Renault (48), Volkswagen (47), Skoda (44), Dacia (36), Kia (35) and Peugeot (26).
While Nissan topped the sales chart, it was the Ford Focus that was the top selling model last month with 25 sales. This was closely followed by the Dacia Duster and Nissan Qashqai, both of which sold 24 models each. The remainder of the top 10 included the Nissan Micra (22), Hyundai Tucson (19), Skoda Octavia (18), Toyota Yaris (17), Volkswagen Tiguan (17), Toyota C-HR (13) and Renault Megane (13).
Despite the slight fall in sales last month compared with the same period of 2017, sales for the first seven months of the year in Louth are up 0.2% from 2,517 last year to 2,522 so far this year.
This can be attributed to the fact that there were 1,943 new 181 cars sold in the Wee County between January 1st and June 30th. This was marginally ahead of 2017 when there were 1,930 171s sold.
Last year there were 2,774 cars sold in Co Louth, which was down 12.02% on 2016.
