Additional Saturday night train planned from Dublin to Dundalk
An additional train Saturday night train service from Dublin to Dundalk is amongst new proposals being put forward by Irish Rail.
The company plans to introduce more than 70 additional services ever day on busy commuter routes into the capital which are currently subject to approval from the National Transport Authority.
Should they be passed then there will be a new service on Saturdays from Dublin Connolly to Dundalk at 22:45.
Full details on the total proposals, which include more frequent off-peak and weekend services to Drogheda, can be found on www.irishrail.ie
Customers are invited to submit feedback on proposed revisions by 5pm next Thursday November 15th. If accepted the changes will come into force from December 9th.
