Applicants sought for Creative Spark Residency Programme

Creative Spark have made an open call for applicants to the Creative Spark Residency Programme.

The Creative Spark Residency Programme is accepting applicants for the 2019 Artist In Residence programme from now until September 7th 2018, providing opportunities for visual artists and art professionals to further develop their practices. Visual Artists working with any medium are free to apply, and Creative Spark have a particular interest in artists developing a body of work in a printmaking discipline. Creative Spark will also be holding a free Raku Ceramics Making Session on Wednesday June 13th from 1.30pm to 2.30pm in advance of the upcoming Raku Night on June 21st. Although this event is free booking is required as spaces will be limited.

The Local Enterprise Office will also be running a Social Media Workshop in the Muirhevnamor-based facility on Wednesday June 13th from 7pm to 10pm. It is bookable on their course page. This is a practical hands-on evening workshop on setting up and using social media for your business, covering tools such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. There will be a general overview of social media as well as information on what tools to use and why.

The North East Business Academy – a group established to bring local business owners together to collaborate through regular meetings, knowledge sharing and network with members – will be holding a business networking breakfast meeting in Creative Spark on Tuesday June 12th from 7am to 9am.
