Carlingford Choral Festival takes place this weekend
Carlingford Choral Festival takes place this weekend in Carlingford.
The festival of advent, Christmas and popular music gets underway on Friday with a concert at 7.30pm in Carlingford Heritage Centre.
Then on Saturday there will be an open air performance at 11am at the Wildwood Café followed by further open air performances at 3pm in the village.
A further concert will then take place at 7pm that night in the Four Seasons Hotel.
There will be church performances on Sunday at 10am in Omeath, 11.30am in Carlingford and 12 noon in Rathcor before the choirs parade and performances in Carlingford village at 4pm.
The event then wraps up at 5pm with the choirs final performances in Carlingford Heritage Centre.
Amongst those performing over the course of the weekend include Cór Chairlinne, Royale Union Wallonne 1847, Choirs Des Homes Du Pans Charloais, Les Voix De L’est, Louth Hospitals Choir, Vintage, Clogherhead Lifeboat Musical Group, the Redemporist Choir, Tredagh Singers and Clermont Chorale.
