A 3.41 acre development site in Carlingford has gone on the market with an asking price of €700,000.
The land at the Liberties is being sold through Dundalk-based estate agents Sherry FitzGerald Carroll.
The site, which is on the western side of the R176 Greenore Road, approximately 500m south east of the centre of Carlingford, is situated just north of the Clos na Manach housing development and approximately 0.25km south of the Four Seasons Hotel.
Sherry FitzGerald Carroll said: “The lands are currently set out in grassland and are irregular in shape and benefit from approx. 140 metres of road frontage along the R176 (Greenore Routeway). A stone Pigeon House is Structure exists on the lands and boundaries comprise a mix of natural hedgerows and fencing.”
The property is zoned residential new under the Louth County Development Plan 2015-2021 and recently had planning permission granted on it for a new surface car parking facility to accommodate 352 cars and to include a single storey toilet block, kiosk/ office, electric vehicle charging points, picnic areas, public lighting and landscaped works. This is subject to an appeal to An Bord Pleanála.
