Circle K relaunches Cash for Clubs programme

Circle K, formerly Topaz, has relaunched its Cash for Clubs programme for 2018, offering clubs across Ireland the chance to win funding by simply fuelling up with Ireland’s leading forecourt and convenience retailer.

Already 27 clubs from Co Louth have signed up as part of this year’s competition after one club from the county were awarded with cash prizes amounting to over €250 in the last 3 years.

With over 420 stores nationwide, Circle K is very much at the heart of communities and recognises the contribution made by grassroots clubs and groups to the locality. As such, with Cash for Clubs, Circle K endeavours to provide hard-working club members with an extra lift in their fundraising efforts.

Circle K customers and members of the local community are encouraged by the participating clubs to support their fundraising efforts by stopping by any of the nine Circle K stores in the county and pledging their tokens to a registered club.

This year’s competition will see all clubs that meet the 500 token threshold guaranteed to receive at least €500 for their efforts. All qualifying clubs will be included in a grand prize draw, with runner-up prizes of €5,000 on offer and a grand prize of €10,000 going to one lucky overall winner.

How it works:

  • By simply swiping a Play or Park loyalty card with every fuel purchase made at any Circle K or Topaz location, customers can collect and pledge their tokens to a club, group or cause of their choice, using the PlayorPark app or through
  • Once their nominated club has hit the 500 token collection mark, they will be automatically entered into a draw to win cash prizes from €500 to the grand prize of €10,000.

To celebrate the competition’s relaunch, Circle K will also reward any club that registers 30 new members with a €150 Circle K Gift Voucher.

The competition closes on August 19th, 2018 with the grand prize winner announced on August 29th.
