Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes to host two Dundalk fundraisers
Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes will be hosting two fundraising events in Dundalk later this month with an appeal issued for the public’s support.
The group will be holding a street collection in the town on Thursday July 26th followed by a bag pack at Tesco in Dundalk on Saturday July 28th.
Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes utilises highly trained volunteer riders
coupled with specially customised high-powered motorcycles. Their volunteer service relieves the pressure on already strained HSE and NHS ambulance crews and other transportation drivers leaving those full-time medical drivers available in their respective areas to deal with any emergency which might arise.
Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes is funded solely on public donations and is affiliated to the prestigious UK based National Association of Blood Bikes (NABB).
They provide their volunteer service to the following hospitals within in the North-Eastern area: – Our Lady’s Hospital, Drogheda, County Louth; Cavan General Hospital, County Cavan; Navan General Hospital, County Meath; Louth County Hospital, Dundalk, County Louth and to Monaghan General Hospital in County Monaghan. In addition, they provide a cross-border service into County Fermanagh.
