Dundalk FC hit Derry for four to go back to the top of the table
Dundalk FC moved back to the top of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division table courtesy of a 4-1 win over Derry City at the Brandywell last night.
Stephen Kenny’s side became the first team to beat the Candystripes at the revamped venue after coming from a goal behind to win in impressive fashion.

The visitors fell behind after 12 minutes when Darren Cole blasted past Gary Rogers from the edge of the area.
Dundalk managed to level on 26 minutes when Brian Gartland headed in a corner to make it 1-1.
The Lilywhites then took the lead on 33 minutes when Robbie Benson (pictured above) was slipped in by Jamie McGrath before rounding Ger Doherty to fire to the net.
The third goal arrived five minutes into the second half when man of the match Michael Duffy broke clear to fire past Doherty.
The icing on the cake then arrived in the first minute of stoppage time when Marco Tagbajumi crossed from fellow substitute Krisztian Adorjan to fire in the fourth.
Next up for Dundalk is a trip to Dalymount Park to face Bohemian FC on Friday night.
