Dundalk FC matches postponed due to European involvement
Dundalk FC’s scheduled matches away to Sligo Rovers in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division on Saturday August 3rd and the EA Sports Cup semi-final at home to Bohemian FC on Monday August 5th have both been postponed by the league.
The decision was made yesterday due to the club’s involvement in European competition. Vinny Perth’s side depart for Baku today where they will face Qarabag in their Champions League second qualifying round second leg tie on Wednesday.
New dates for the fixtures will be announced in due course.
Dundalk now hold a seven point lead with a game in hand at the top of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division table after the weekend.
