Dundalk man arrested as part of dissident investigation released without charge
A Dundalk man arrested as part of a follow up search following the discovery of a firearm in Drogheda last week was released without charge at the weekend.
A file on the matter will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A woman in her 30s who was also arrested as part of the operation targeting Dissident Republican activity appeared in court at the weekend. She was found to be in possession of a large amount of prescription tablets when the car she was driving was stopped in the Crushrod Avenue area of Drogheda last Wednesday at around 3pm.
