Dundalk man David Farrelly takes up new role with FIFA
Dundalk man David Farrelly has taken up a new role as Director of Communications with FIFA.
Farrelly, who contributes regularly to the Dundalk FC programme, joins football’s world governing body from UEFA where he was based for the last 22 years.
During his time with UEFA, David built up the organisation’s website while also fulfilling other communications roles.
According to The Irish Independent, he has most recently been involved in work around Euro 2020 with Saturday’s draw in Bucharest his last official UEFA duty.
