Dundalk Young Irelands’ week gets even better as clubroom extension is approved
Dundalk Young Irelands’ week has got even better with the news they have been given the go ahead for an extension to their clubrooms at Pairc Éire Óg on Hoey’s Lane.
The county’s oldest club created history on Saturday when they beat St Brigid’s of Offaly on Saturday to become the first side from Louth to win the Leinster Club Junior Football Championship.
On the back of a year where the senior side won three trophies, the club are now celebrating another success.
Having applied to Louth County Council seeking planning permission for alterations to the ground floor lay out of their existing clubrooms and a first floor extension in October, they have now been granted conditional planning permission to proceed.
A great year for the club has just got better!
