Fairytale of Dundalk concert takes place this Friday
Top Irish act Bagatelle, whose frontman is Dundalk native Liam Reilly, will headline this year’s Fairytale of Dundalk concert in aid of the North Louth Hospice.
The annual pre-Christmas fundraiser will take place this Friday December 21st at An Táin Arts Centre at the Town Hall.
The group, who have had six number ones including ‘Summer in Dublin’ and ‘Second Violin’ will be supported on the night by a wide range of top local musical talent.
Also on the bill are husband and wife duo Zoe Conway and John McIntyre.
The Corrs guitarist Jim Corr will also perform as part of the Dundalk Christmas Collective, a group which includes Tubby Corrway, Seán McGeeney, Melissa Hayes, Mark Connolly, Ian Harold and more.
There will also be performances on the night from Cúchulainn Celtic Strings, Oriel Youth Ensemble, Scoil Rince Uí Chonghaile, Sunshine Souls Samba and the Malone Dance Academy.
The evening will get underway at 7pm on the night with a mulled wine reception followed by the show at 7.30pm. There will also be great prizes up for grabs on the night including a signed Dundalk FC jersey, VIP tickets to Aslan, Declan O’Rourke and Paddy Casey and luxury Christmas hampers.
