Family fun guaranteed as the Marshes hosts enchanted garden events from this Sunday

Family fun at the Marshes Shopping Centre will take on a distinct garden feel in July.

Outdoor and indoor gardens are being put in place where adults and children can take time out this summer.

On top of this children’s events, including movies, will run on the remaining Sundays in July, starting this weekend.

A beautiful outdoor garden, located at the front entrance of Marshes, will provide a relaxing seat among fragrant florals and fresh greenery.

Indoors, a second garden will see fairies are host three enchanted events sure to keep children’s eyes bright with wonder.

Children are invited to visit the magical indoor garden for the first time this Sunday July 14th when they can discover this enchanted space for the first time.

There will be games on the grass, magical storytelling and flower crowns being made between 1.00pm and 3.00pm, with a children’s movie between 3.00pm and 5.00pm.

On Sunday July 21st magical mini beasts will be at the indoor garden where children can create whimsical wings and meet the little fairies on hand for face painting, with a children’s movie between 3pm and 5pm.

Then on Sunday July 28th the fairies of the enchanted garden are inviting local children to a special feast.

There will be cupcake decoration and fairy lanterns, with lots of crafting opportunities and parents can take photos of their prince or princess at the enchanted garden flower wall between 1pm and 3pm.

A children’s horticulture demonstration will follow between 3pm and 5pm when kids can discover the magic of planting seeds and growing flowers.
