First Derivatives hold Meet the Employer event in DkIT

First Derivatives Newry held a very successful “Meet the Employer” event in Dundalk IT, on Tuesday last.

This event was organised by EURES Cross-Border Partnership in collaboration with The Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (Dundalk) and Department of Communities (Newry).

HR officer Catherine McGovern gave a presentation on the company along with their Futures programme to Graduates with a min 2:2 degree in any discipline and who have interest in working in the financial/technology sector.  The presentation also provided attendees with an overview of recruitment procedures and an opportunity to network with members of the First Derivatives team who relayed their experiences and the exciting opportunities available both at home and abroad.

Recruitment is still open at www.firstderivatives.com/careers with vacancies for Junior Property administrators, Technology Sales Agents along with the Futures programme. Successful applicants in the Futures programme will receive full training and will be based in the Newry branch for a minimum of 2 years, full salary payable along with company benefits are available.  No prior knowledge or experience required.
