Former Dundalk CEO appointed new managing director of Dundee United

Former Dundalk FC CEO Mal Brannigan has been appointed the new managing director of Scottish Championship side Dundee United.

The Yorkshire man’s new role was announced earlier today and comes just a week after his departure from Oriel Park was announced.

He will take up his new role from Monday having been appointed by new club owner Mark Ogren.

Dundee said: “While he assumes overall control of the Club’s affairs, his main focus will be on the business side of the organisation.”

He will be officially unveiled by Dundee United at a press conference on Tuesday.
