Former Dundalk FC captain linked with vacant job at St Patrick’s Athletic
Former Dundalk FC captain Stephen O’Donnell could be in line for the vacant manager’s job at St Patrick’s Athletic.
The former midfielder, who hung up his boots at the end of last season after helping the Lilywhites to league titles in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018, is currently an opposition analyst under Dundalk first team coach Vinny Perth.
According to a report in The Irish Sun, O’Donnell could be set to take his first serious step into management at Richmond Park.
The position of Pat’s boss is vacant following Harry Kenny’s departure last week.
The 33-year-old is understood to have met the club on Wednesday with a decision on the role expected soon.
