Former Dundalk Grammar School student favourite to land Superman role
A former Dundalk Grammar School student has been heavily tipped to become the next ‘Superman’.
Colin O’Donoghue has been installed as the early favourite to replace Henry Cavill in the famous caped role should he quit.
The 37-year-old Drogheda man has previously appeared alongside Cavill in ‘The Tudors’ but could now be set to step up to a role which was first made famous by the late Christopher Reeve.
Cavill has refused to comment on speculation he is to step away from the role of Clark Kent leading to bookmakers opening the betting on who will be next to wear the red cape.
O’Donoghue, best known as his performances as Captain Killian ‘Hook’ Jones in television show ‘Once Upon A Time’, has been made 3/1 joint favourite for the role with William Hill alongside Creed star Michael B Jordan.
