Former Peak Physique gym in Mill Street to be converted to day care centre
The go ahead has been given to convert the former Peak Physique Fitness Club premises in Mill Street into a day care centre for those suffering from mental illness.
Praxis Care have been granted conditional planning permission by Louth County Council to change the use of the fitness centre to day care/office use.
They plan to change the building to a day care centre providing support living services to people experiencing mental ill health.
It is proposed to change the use of the first floor to office use also.
Material alterations consist of new render finish to external walls, increase existing window openings including new window openings to both floors at front and rear elevations, new external signage to building. Internal alterations including a new layout, with new stair and lift core and all associated construction works including 14 car parking spaces.
