Greenbean Coffee Roasters wins another 2 Star Great Taste Award
Dundalk company, Greenbean Coffee Roasters has won another 2 STAR Great Taste Award for its Sweet Sorrento blend coffee.
The Great Taste Awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Foods in the UK are the most coveted awards in the food and drink sector. The judging process is anonymous and very rigorous and all tasting sessions are completely blind; the judges never know which brand or product they’re tasting. This is Greenbean’s seventh Great Taste Award
The Great Taste Awards were announced last week and the judges made the following commentary on Sweet Sorrento: “Lovely crema and very light, silky and refined without milk.Add the milk and the caramel sweetness sits on your tongue giving warm chocolate notes. A silky tongue filler.”
Pat Grant, Greenbean Coffee Roasters’ Managing Director and Master Roaster said: “Greenbean’s Sweet Sorrento blend is a sophisticated coffee and, as the Great Taste Awards judges point out, it works equally well taken black or with milk. Ireland is a very coffee-literate market now and Irish consumers take their coffee very seriously, they know their coffee and they know what they want.
“We are delighted that Sweet Sorrento has been recognised in this way and we look forward to the positive impact that achieving a 2 STAR Great Taste Award should have on sales.”
Sweet Sorrento and other Greenbean coffee blends can be purchased exclusively from the company’s online sales partners, Dreambeans Coffee.
