Homesavers to open in Dundalk this Saturday

A new variety retail store is set to open in Dundalk this weekend.

Talk of the Town first revealed in September how Homesavers was set to open in the town.

Now they will open their doors for the first time this Saturday morning at 10am at their new store at Dundalk Retail Park, beside Curry’s/PC World.

The homeware chain announced in April they were investing an additional €10 million into its business as part of a bid to become a nationwide retailer.

At the time the company, which is headed up by former Iceland Ireland chief executive Tom Keogh, spoke of plans to open more than 20 stores this year and trebling its workforce to 1,200.

Now Homesavers, which most recently opened in Tallaght and Limerick, is planning to open in Dundalk, Drogheda and Monaghan.
