Jinx Lennon to headline Dundalk Gaol next month as part of double header with Little John Nee
Local singer/songwriter Jinx Lennon is set to perform as part of a double header with the amazing musician/storyteller Little John Nee in Dundalk Gaol next month.
The concert at the Oriel Centre is scheduled for Thursday November 14th at 8pm with tickets onsale now from the venue or online at www.orielcentre.ie
Speaking to Talk of the Town, Jinx gave an update on the progress of his new material.
He said: “I am currently finishing my upcoming album which will be called ‘Border Schizo Folk Songs for the F**ked’ which I aim to release next March.
“It features brilliant local musicians including Sharon McArdle, Conal Duffy, TPM and Sean Quigley and I recorded it in Silverbridge with singer/songwriter Ben Reel.”
On his recent activity, Jinx said: “This summer was a great one for festivals in Vantastival, Electric Picnic, ITAV Cork, Knockanstockan and Feile Na Greine Limerick which was magical.
Jinx also shared a song about Dundalk from Electric Picnic called ‘Do The Dundalk Walk’ about the local hard man walking late in the night.
