Kearney brothers receive rowing tips from Olympic silver medallists the O’Donovans
Paul and Gary O’Donovan hit the headlines last week after landing a silver medal at the Olympics in the men’s lightweight double sculls event.
However, shortly before travelling to Rio the Skibbereen brothers teamed up with Louth’s most famous sporting siblings, the Kearney brothers – Dave and Rob.
Paul and Gary showed the Willville men the different techniques involved in rowing and talked about the nutrition involved to be physically ready for competition.
They also challenged the Kearney’s to a sibling sprint over 100m.
