Local boxer Amy Broadhurst seeks public help to represent Ireland in Russia next month
Local boxer Amy Broadhurst is seeking the public’s help to represent her country in Russia next month.
The 16 time Irish champion has been selected to box for Ireland in the U22 European Championships in Vladikavkaz in Russia from March 4th to 18th. While there she will be looking to defend the European title she won last year.
In order to make the trip, Amy has set up a GoFundMe page, hoping to raise €2,000.
She said: “I am not a funded athlete from the IABA so anybody who is interested in sponsoring please feel free. Every little helps no matter how big or small. Been on my journey to winning my 6th European Medal! Thank you!!! X”
You can contribute via Amy’s GoFundMe page here.
