Mild week of weather in store locally
We’re in for a period of settled, cloudy and very mild weather this week.
That’s the verdict of Louth Weather in their latest forecast for the week ahead.
Louth Weather expects rainfall to be “way below average” with no frost either to contend with in the mornings.
The forecast in full reads as follows: “As I outlined last Friday, the coming week will be quiet on the weather front, with cloudy but mild conditions. The Atlantic tries to dominate but high pressure to the south and southeast ensures nothing major reaches us.
- Very mild
- No frost
- Cloudy with little sunshine
- Rainfall totals way below average
- Average winds
- NO snow
“MONDAY: Some hazy sunshine this morning but lots of high cloud pushing in from the NW later. Dry. Light to moderate southerly winds. Max 8°C. Cloudy but dry tonight with minimum temperature of 7°C.
“TUESDAY: Cloudy but mostly dry. Risk of a band of light rain coming to a stop over us mid afternoon, but this is very uncertain so it will be tomorrow morning before I have a better idea on this. Moderate SW winds. Mild at 12°C.
“WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY: No real change. Cloudy. Some sunshine at times but I won’t know till closer the time when this will occur. Overall dry with the only rain likely Friday and Sunday (otherwise dry). Very mild with daytime temperatures up to 12°C and nighttime values rarely falling below 8°C. Moderate southerly winds.”
