New footpaths and lighting officially opened in Stabannon

Stabannon Tidy Towns held the opening of the new footpaths and lighting in the village this morning.

The works were provided under funding received for works to the value of €37,341. Funds were received under the Town and Village Renewal Fund 2017 which were provided by the Department of Rural and Community Development, in conjunction with Louth County Council.

The opening ceremony was performed by Louth County Council chairman Cllr Liam Reilly at 10.30am in Stabannon village and a large crowd attended.
