New plaque commemorating Dundalk men who fought in 1916 Rising to be unveiled on Clanbrassil Street
The Knight of Hibernia John Boyle O’Reilly Society will unveil a newly commissioned plaque at 30 Clanbrassil Street on Sunday week November 18th.
The new plaque will commemorate the men, numbering almost 100, who left the premises to fight for Irish freedom on Easter Sunday 1916.
All are welcome to attend the unveiling, particularly descendants of those being honoured.
The unveiling will take place at 11am on Sunday week.
