New telecommunications mast planned for Riverstown forest
Plans have been submitted for a new telecommunications mast at Coillte Forest Grange in Riverstown.
Cignal Infrastructure Ltd have lodged a planning application with Louth County Council for the new mast, which will provide voice and mobile broadband services in the North Louth area.
They are proposing to erect a new 30m multi-user telecommunications support structure carrying nine antennas and associated remote radio units, six communication dishes, three lighting finials and six outdoor cabinets all enclosed within a security compound by a 2.4m high palisade fence with a 4m access gate, site access and site works.
A decision on the matter will be made by February 13th.
