People Before Profit to host public meeting in Dundalk on May 9th
The Louth/East Meath branch of People Before Profit will hold their first public meeting since the General Election in the Lisdoo on the Newry Road in Dundalk on Monday May 9th at 7.30pm.
Amongst the guest speakers on the night will be TD Richard Boyd Barrett who will discuss how to move Ireland forward.
Local man Joe Carolan, who works with Unite New Zealand, will also give a talk on workers’ rights and the fight against zero hour contracs and the erosion of workers’ pay and conditions.
Finally, local People Before Profit General Election candidate Garrett Weldon will speak about how the party will continue its work in the Louth/East Meath area and continue to fight on issues such as health, housing, education and austerity taxes.
The event is free to attend and all are welcome on the night.
