Pictures emerge of Lisa Smith posing with weapons before travelling to Syria

The pictures, provided by associates of the former Irish Air Corps member, were taken on a farm in Tunisia in April 2013.
They show the Muirhevnamor woman posing with a rifle while wearing full Islamic dress.
Smith, who travelled to Syria twice, spent nearly a decade in the Irish Defence Forces before converting to Islam and joining Isis in September 2015.
The 38-year-old said she did not join in any fighting and moved to the “Islamic state” solely for religious reasons. Despite fears she was radicalised, the mother of one has always denied this and has sought to return to Ireland in recent months having been held in the Ayn Issa camp.
