Planning permissions on the rise in Louth
There were 164 planning permissions granted in Louth in the first quarter of the year.
That’s according to a new report from the Central Statistics Office, released today.
Of the 164 planning applications, 57 were in relation to dwellings, 49 were in relation to extensions, 20 were in relation to alterations and conversions and the remaining 38 fell under the other category.
The applications were in respect of a total of 70,000sqm. Of this 31,000sqm was in relation to dwellings, 7,000sqm was for extensions and 32,000sqm fell in the other category.
The number of applications is up by 12 on the 152 in the first quarter of last year. It is also up seven on the 157 applications granted in the last quarter of 2017.
