Plans for 31 new homes on Dublin Road remain a possibility
Plans for 31 new homes on the Dublin Road in Dundalk remain a possibility.
Torca Homes have been granted an extension of planning permission by Louth County Council for the development which was first given the go ahead in December 2008 and later further extended in 2013.
They are seeking to demolish the former James Murphy & Sons (Dundalk) warehouse either side of Muirhevna and Glenwood. In its place they plan to build 31 residential dwellings comprising 14 duplex style units (seven 2 bed apartments and seven 3 bed maisonettes) and 17 townhouses (11 3 beds and six 4 beds).
The plans also include a proposal for 62 surface car parking spaces, bicycle stands, bin stores, internal roads with vehicular access onto the Dublin Road via Glenwood and with bicycle and pedestrian access onto the Dublin Road.
