Pleasant week in store weather wise but no heatwave conditions
A pleasant week lies in store weather wise but there won’t be the heatwave conditions of recent weeks.
That’s the view of Louth Weather in their latest forecast for the week ahead.
The forecast reads as follows:
“BACKGROUND: While high pressure is no longer in total control, it hasn’t gone away either. The main influence on our weather this week is a large area of high pressure situated west of The Azores. It will keep pressure over us at a relatively high 1015hPa to 1020hPa, ensuring reasonably settled conditions this week.
“SUMMARY: A mostly dry week ahead, with rainfall totals averaging only 5mm in most areas. There will be showers around, these will most likely occur through the afternoons. The best of the sunshine will occur in the mornings and evenings. Fresher than of late, but getting warmer towards next weekend.
“MONDAY: After a sunny start, cloud will generally increase through the morning. The afternoon will see a mix of cloud and sunny spells, with showers in some areas. Fewer clouds about through the evening. Max of 19°C and feeling fresher than of late in a light to moderate westerly wind. Dry and clear Monday night with temperatures dropping to 12°C.
“TUESDAY TO SUNDAY: Very little change from Monday. Slight differences each day in the cloud cover and shower risk, but I will assess these in my daily updates.”
