Possibility of some localised flooding this weekend
With Storm Callum now behind us, there could be a risk of some localised flooding due to heavy rain tonight and leading into tomorrow.
Louth Weather reports that rain is set to fall for much of tonight and tomorrow but says things should clear up for Sunday.
Their forecast for the weekend is as follows: “Dry this morning with the odd sunny spell. Around midday rain will arrive and this will continue through to mid or late afternoon. Dry again with some sunshine this evening. Max 17°C early in the day, but turning cooler this afternoon.
“Dry initially on Friday night but rain will arrive later on. This rain looks set to continue into Saturday and may not clear away till late afternoon. This could result in localised flooding. Moderate to fresh SW winds. Max 15°C.
“A much better day on Sunday with mostly dry weather and quite a lot of sunshine. Max 14°C.”
