Precision Cables to hold coffee morning in aid of colleague Sean Cox this Friday

The Dundalk company where Liverpool fan Sean Cox worked before the brutal assault which left him in a coma before the club’s Champions League tie with Roma at Anfield last April is to hold a major fundraiser on their colleague’s this Friday.

Precision Cables on Mulholland Avenue will hold the coffee morning at their offices between 10am and 12 noon this Friday to raise funds for Sean’s ongoing rehabilitation and care. They are also encouraging others around the country to organise coffee mornings of their own this Friday in support of Sean.

The Dunboyne man has come out of the coma suffered following the attack outside Anfield and is currently being treated in the National Rehabilitation Centre in Dun Laoghaire. After the 12 week intensive work at the NRS is concluded, Sean and his family will effectively be on their own, and using their own resources to pay for the future intensive rehab that is required.

This is why Precision Cables is stepping in to help.

They said: “We are calling on all our customers, suppliers, friends and associates to join us in hosting a coffee morning on their own premises on Friday December 7th to raise money for the Support Sean Fund.’

“The firm are also hosting their own coffee morning at their Mulholland Avenue premises on December 7th.

“You can also join us for coffee and cakes at our office in Dundalk.”

To date a GoFundMe campaign for Sean has brought in €415,000 of a €2 million goal. You can contribute to the fund here or if you’d like to set up a coffee morning of your own please email
