Prominent Kilkerley farm land to be sold at auction this September

A prominent piece of farm land in Kilkerley will be sold at auction this September.

Local estate agents Michael Lavelle have brought to the market the house and yard at Rogan’s Bend in Kilkerley, which comprises of 13.49 hectares (33.33 acres) of land. The asking price is undisclosed.

According to the selling agents, this is a property that will appeal to many interests.

They say it is suitable for “all types of farming from arable to beef to equestrian and horticultural. Equally, a discerning purchaser seeking a quiet rural setting that is convenient to town and the M1.”

The property is located midway between the Carrickmacross Road and Castleblayney Road along the Grey Acre Road, around 3.5km from Dundalk train station.

The lands have substantial road frontage and road access and include a disused detached dwelling together with adjacent disused yard and array of outhouses and haybarn.
