Rain expected over the weekend as sunny spell comes to an end
The recent good spell will come to an end today with some showers expected over the weekend.
That’s the verdict of Louth Weather in their latest forecast for the next few days.
According to the local forecaster today will be cloudier than yesterday with very little sunshine. It will be dry. Moderate NE winds. Milder at 16°C.
The forecast for the weekend then reads as follows: “SATURDAY: Cloudy for the morning and much of the afternoon, with some patchy, mostly light rain. The local setup is messy and still unclear, so keep an eye for updates. It should turn brighter and drier later in the day. Moderate northerly winds. Cooler at 13°C.
“SUNDAY: A mix of cloud and sunny spells. Overall dry, though a few showers will occur, most likely during the afternoon. Moderate NW winds. Max 15°C.
“NEXT WEEK: No dominant airmasses in control, so a very middle-of-the-road weather setup. Some good days and some not so bad days. Below average rainfall. Temperatures close to 20°C by mid week.”
