Sadhbh’s Tribe are back for another Hell and Back fundraiser in aid of Down Syndrome
Sadhbh’s Tribe are back and once again they are taking part in a gruelling Hell and Back challenge to ensure local services for children with Down Syndrome are kept running.
Conal Kelleher and Kevin Haughey, along with a host of supporters from Ireland and further afield will take part in the event next weekend.
In Hell and Back participants must complete a 10-15km trail route crossing rivers and lakes, climbing hills and mountains and crawling through bogs and swamps.
The group known as ‘Sadhbh’s Tribe’ also completed the ‘Hell and Back’ course in 2016 when they managed to raise over €17,000 for Down Syndrome Louth Meath.
The group receives €30,000 in grants each year with the remaining €120,000 to run their programmes coming from fundraising.
That’s why the event on Saturday September 29th is so important.
Hell and Back will take place in the Kilruddery Estate in Bray, Co Wicklow with a fun evening planned from 4pm in The Spirit Store, which all are welcome to attend. There will be BBQ on the night as well as face painting and music from Finnian, Jinx Lennon and more.
Entry is free but there will be buckets going around and anything you can afford to give will be greatly appreciated.
