San Benedetto to open new shop and deli on the Point Road
San Benedetto Italian Shop in Frances Street are set to open a new shop and deli on the Point Road in the coming weeks.
The venture opened its doors in the town just before Christmas, selling a mix of Italian food and beverage to retail customers.
It was set up by Sara Iobbi, who named the business after her hometown San Benedetto del Tronto on Italy’s Adriatic Coast.
Now the business is set to grow further with a new shop and deli set to open in the former Spanish Tapas shop at the former XL store at 64 Point Road.
According to their Facebook page, the new venture will serve: “Irish and Italian cuisine run all day for take away, as a Irish breakfast, chicken goujons, different burgers, fish and chips and pasta with different sauce, lasagne and other Italian and Irish dishes. Fresh food served all day as a scone, sliced pizza and cakes homemade.”
