Snickers troll Cork fans with Dundalk-themed billboard outside Turner’s Cross
Snickers have decided to troll Cork City fans about their rivalry with Dundalk with a new billboard outside their ground in Turner’s Cross.
For the last number of years the Cork-Dundalk rivalry has been the biggest in Irish football with the two clubs winning every league title on offer between them over the last five seasons, while they have also faced off against each other in the FAI Cup final for the last four.
While Cork have had their moments, it has been Dundalk – with four league wins to the Rebels’ one – who have enjoyed most bragging rights.
Now Snickers has stoked up the rivalry further with a billboard outside Cork’s ground at Turner’s Cross saying ‘Nuts about Dundalk’.
The poster has gone viral in the last 24 hours with most now expecting a similar one to pop up in Dundalk winding up local fans.
