To mark its 40th anniversary St Joseph’s NS will be hosting a ‘Night of Memories’ for all past pupils and staff this Thursday at 7pm the school’s Halla Mór.

Teacher Paul McGee encouraged as many past pupils as possible to attend what promises to be a great night.

He said: “The school has been serving the Muirhevnamor, Tom Bellew Avenue and Avenue Road communities for forty years since it welcomed its first pupils in September 1979.

“Over the years many students have graduated through the school and have gone on to achieve success in their chosen careers and the school would love to welcome them to the reunion.

“Past members of staff will also be in attendance so the evening promises to revive memories and inspire plenty of conversations and banter. Come along and bring some of your old classmates with you,” he said.
