The Fairways Hotel set to re-open this November
The Fairways Hotel will reopen its doors this November with hiring now underway for two senior positions.
The Dublin Road hotel has been closed since January 2015 with a new retail development anchored by SuperValu opening there in October 2017.
In more recent times work has been ongoing at reopening the hotel, which will include 113 spacious bedrooms, excellent extensive conference and banqueting facilities with four large meeting rooms, a newly redesigned reception, bar and restaurant once complete.
The hotel will be part of the iNUA Collection of hotels which includes the Muckross Park Hotel in Killarney, the Tullamore Court Hotel, The Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan and Radisson Blu Hotels in Athlone, Cork, Limerick and Sligo among its portfolio.
Ahead of the re-opening the group have launched a recruitment campaign to find a General Manager, Human Resources Manager and Director of Sales to “support the pre opening and opening phases of this exciting new project.”

As well as the ongoing work on the hotel, there is also planning permission in place on site for 40 new houses and eight apartments.
