Three North Louth eateries served with closure orders last month
Three North Louth businesses were served with closure orders by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland last month.
The first closure order was served on the Roma Restaurant on Dundalk Street in Carlingford on November 6th by the Health Service Executive under FSAI Act 1998. The closed area was an external area to the rear and side of the premises used for food production and storage. This was lifted on November 13th.
On November 23rd the restaurant/café at The Blue Anchor at Bellurgan Point was also served with a closure order under EC (Official Control of Foodstuffs) Regulations 2010 (S.I. No. 117 of 2010). This was lifted on November 29th.
New Century Chinese Takeaway in Riverstown was also served with a closure order on November 27th by the HSE under FSAI Act 1998. According to the FSAI, this has yet to be lifted.
