Town2Town charity cycle from Dundalk to Tralee to take place again this month

Dromiskin man Jonny McGailey will once again be hosting his annual Town2Town charity cycle from Dundalk to Tralee this month.

Now in its fourth year, the event is organised to coincide with the Rose of Tralee International Festival which Jonny previously featured in as an escort.

It sets off from Dundalk on Friday August 17th with this year’s chosen charities set to benefit from the event including Make-A-Wish Ireland, Anamcara, the North Louth Hospice and SOSAD.

The event will see participants cycle almost 400km in two days with around 70 taking part this year. The cycle involves a stopover on Friday night in Ollie’s Bar in Moneygall.

To date the cycle has raised just shy of €60,000 for a wide range of charities.
