Vinny Perth nominated for PFAI Manager of the Year award

Dundalk FC head coach Vinny Perth has been nominated for the PFAI Manager of the Year award.

Perth, who has won the EA Sports Cup and Premier Division title in his debut season in charge, will go up against Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley and Bohemian FC’s Keith Long for the coveted award.

His predecessor Stephen Kenny won last year’s honour having guided Dundalk to a league and FAI Cup double.

The awards take this Saturday night with Dundalk FC duo Sean Gannon and Michael Duffy also up for the PFAI Player of the Year award alongside Jack Byrne of Shamrock Rovers.
